Course History
Located in Hancock, NY, the idea of a golf course was originally conceived in the 1940’s by a conglomerate of local businessmen. With various funding and labor sources, and withstanding delay by floods and War, it came to fruition in 1959. Future of the Hancock Golf Course
Plans for the course are that it shall remain a public golf course and continue with the clubhouse bar and restaurant combination, remaining open as weather permits. The Buckley Family will continue to operate the venture as they have for the past 50+ years.
